Senior Centers
Each senior center is a gathering place for the wisdom, experience,
insight, and skills that come with age. Every center is a vital, life-affirming
space designed so that seniors can come together for services and activities
that not only reflect their experiences and skills, but also meet their
diverse needs and interests, while encouraging interaction with the
community.
Enrichment programs include activities that promote Health and Wellness,
Education and Culture, and Social Activities to keep seniors engaged
with their peers while promoting overall self well being. Below is a
program schedule at our centers. Please check other activities and
events posted under Community
Dining. Some of them are held prior to special luncheons and dinners.
Wellness Programs
Screenings and educational sessions are offered to help seniors make
healthy lifestyle choices and take greater responsibility for their
own health and wellness. Programs include lifetime fitness and exercise
such as yoga, tai chi, line dancing and strength training; flu and pneumonia
clinic; screenings such as vision, hearing, blood pressure, glaucoma
and dementia; and health fairs and workshops.
