SmartWorks is an innovative new volunteer program of Senior Services of Albany. It is a program for informed, motivated and committed professional Capital Region residents who have retired or who are about to retire, and are seeking opportunities for self-development and community involvement. SmartWorks will match your talent and ability with a newly created leadership project at a local nonprofit organization. Don't hesitate – SmartWorks is an opportunity for you to get involved in your community.
SmartWorks will provide you with appropriate training, to assist you in assuming a volunteer leadership role. We expect to place our SmartWorks volunteers in nonprofit agencies on a continuing basis. Projects and assignments will vary by organization, time commitment and area of interest. What skills and experience have you gained over your lifetime that will help others? Put them to use with SmartWorks today!
